Construction Kicks Motivation’s ASS

Published: May 30th, 2008

Did you read the latest book by Donald Trump? – Think BIG and Kick Ass.

Do you see the effectiveness in that title? The first part is to Think BIG. It is all about the mind, the planning and the decision making. The second part is to Kick Ass. This is where the real thing happens. You see Implementation, Action, Transformation and finally Results. The results are either negative, positive or stagnant. But results, you will see!

Have you ever been to a construction site? Do you know who is in charge there? The architect and the supervisor. They are responsible for building stuff. You don’t see any motivational mambo jumbo going on over there, do you? Stuff has to be moved. Floors have to be built. Finishing touch has to be given. And all of this takes ACTION and hard work.

Too many bullshitters, who claim to be entrepreneurs spend most of their time with books, tapes and seminars. Those are essential and sometimes priceless. But, at some point you get educated enough. Once a bird knows how to fly, the bird need not engage in further training. The next phase in training comes from your actions, trial and errors and simply putting yourself in the battle field.

Most bullshitters who call themselves entrepreneurs are simply talkers and no wonder they are not going anywhere in life. They talk, talk, talk and talk some more. If you ask them, “what did you do yesterday?, or if they can document in writing what specific action they took to influence a deal, a sale or acquiring clients, they will perhaps have no clue.

Too many bullshitters call themselves entrepreneurs by whiling their precious time away. These bullshitters hang out amongst some genuine entrepreneurs and think they are one among them. Their actions defy logic. They do not take risks. They do not try out new stuff to make their business better. They give excuses upon excuses to delay critical action required for their business and blame their way to nothingness.

Please don’t call yourself an entrepreneur if you are bullshitting your life away. Take some radical decisions and go out of your way to make things happen. Granted, you will not find positive results all the time. But, if you call yourself an entrepreneur, don’t indulge in the “play safe” game. You will lose most of the time by living a mediocre life. Look at people around you. You will see what I am talking about.

Learn to take big risks. Do something you have never done before. Stop thinking poor by clinging on to the few dollars you have saved up. Take drastic action. And I am not even suggesting that you play blackjack at the casinos.

You can’t kick ass if you don’t have strong feet. You can’t kick ass if you don’t lift your legs far and high enough. If your business has no “legs”, it won’t be able to kick ass.

Attending seminars, networking, listening to motivational tapes and videos is all fine and dandy. But realize this that money only flows your way by way of providing a service or a product or selling that specific product or service. If you don’t know how to sell, if you don’t attend to the business of selling everyday, if you are not actively looking for a customer before the day is over, if you have no means to forecast a transaction by the end of the day, you will be forever listening to tapes and videos. You will be forever attending seminars and networking events. You will be forever reading books and how to guides.

At some point the THINK BIG is big enough. Then it gets to a point where you will need to KICK ASS. And that is hard my friend. Because it involves HARD WORK on a daily basis. On a consistent basis. There is no resting there.

If you haven’t kicked ass today, then stop bullshitting by calling yourself an entrepreneur simply because you belong to a group or a business club. You are nothing but a con (wo)man deceiving yourself and there is no bigger fool on the planet who ends up deceiving the self.

How many hours are left before you can take your sorry ass to sleep? Stop dreaming. Take some action. Take some risks. Prepare for a TRANSACTION. Find a customer. Make a sale.

I don’t care how highly you think of yourself. Your bank balance will tell you exactly how smart you are.

Don’t wait to get motivated to do something. Act and then your motivation will follow your actions.

Everybody likes to think BIG. Not everyone can kick ASS.

This may not apply to all of you. But you bullshitters, you know who you are!

Now stop bullshitting by calling yourself an entrepreneur and go kick some ASS!

According to Gandhi, A Customer is…

Published: May 29th, 2008

“A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. he is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so.”

How to Turn $15 into $4000 Plus? Here’s How!

Published: May 27th, 2008

chrisdesouza.com - 6-minutes - how to turn $15 into $4000 plus?

Do you know 1 big reason why most people trying to make money
( or achieve anything else for that matter ) never become successful? Sure you do know it. Everyone knows it. Even my cat knows it.

And the answer is – Commitment & Judgment.

Both, Commitment on the part of the seller and the buyer. If you are not committed to something, then you are NOT loyal. You are merely flirting. And this is exactly what these so called Internet marketers do. They flirt with your need for financial independence. They do not provide you with anything stable. They tell you of secrets that do not exist. 99.999% of all secrets are not secrets. They are available all over the Internet if you know where to find it. And if you do not know, then you will need to spend some time on the search engines to get that information. Just because I am a 3rd grader and you are a first grader does not empower me to be your GURU. Only the school teacher can be your GURU, so to speak.

Can you learn something from these so called Gurus? Sure you can. It depends on who is teaching you and how much of an effort you will put into those teachings. If I have to teach you something, whether be it marketing or baking cake, it annoys me that someone would call it a “SECRET”. Techniques, Yes! Secrets – NO!

When you apply for college, they don’t compete against other institutions by proclaiming to teach you secrets. Or do they? All of your school text are available in the open market. So there you go.

When it comes to making money online, especially if you are a beginner – you must go with the simplest, most cost effective and the most stable business opportunity. 6 Minutes is one of them. It has been around since 1999. This remains one of my most profitable business, considering the amount of investment I made in it. A mere $15.

But this is not all. 6 Minutes is a great lead generator. When folks sign up for this program, they bring in a continual source of new leads to our franchise site. And 6 Minutes can do the same for you as well while making you $5, $10, $50 and even $4000 plus as it did for me over time with little effort on your part.

The Over Night Biz franchise system has attracted many sales via 6 Minutes and it can do the same for you as well. 6 Minutes is a great program. It teaches your some basic and advanced marketing skills and it is completely automated. Advertise, collect your sales income and more importantly, get your leads and new customers.

Unlike these predatory and so called Internet gurus, Dave Carroll has kept this site alive and uninterrupted since 1999 and that shows a great deal of commitment to the little guy who wants to learn and test the Internet business waters with a low cost business, which is also very profitable.

Get your 6 Minutes here and start your Over Night Biz franchise as well.

Your decisions will define your destiny. And this decision is very simple. Make it.

Finally, never JUDGE before you have experienced anything. Playing scenarios in your head is not actual reality. Today, my business is successful only because I do not judge before I try anything out. If it can be done, I try.

The “Stop Global Warming” Minions

Published: May 26th, 2008

Seriously, I am way too pissed off by this “Global Warming” mambo jumbo. Sure, the earth’s belly is on fire. But I resent these corporate bums preaching to us on how to react to global warming and climate change.

Someone within Facebook sent me a green patch. A green patch to save the world from burning up. I sent him this message and it was not taken well. Hey, I am no Obama when it comes to speech and I am no Oscar Wilde, when it comes to prose. I speak about what’s on my mind and that should suffice.

This guy sent me a green patch. Something to do with Global Warming.

Me
you are brainwashed by these corporate minions about global warming just like most of them. these green patch will do sh*& for the planet. the earth does not care about these green patches and your hybrids. it does not WANT them.

those naive masses who think they are making a difference. population, manufacturing, consumption – this is where the bullet should penetrate.

green patches. please!

ok later
chris

Some Name
Chris, I would suggest to you that poor manners go hand-in-hand with lack of education. Grow a brain please (and learn to write), before you hurt yourself. We are no longer “friends.”

Me
That’s fine No Name. Very sensitive. I was merely speaking my mind.

OK, later

It is time the Wal-mart’s, the Target’s, the Macy’s, the Apple’s and the Intel’s realize that Global Warming will not be pacified with their “GREEN” bullshit. These assholes are truly brainwashing the populace at large into feeling good about buying another device and another equipment, the planet doesn’t need in it’s ever polluting landfill.

If global warming was an issue, they would go for the root cause of this mayhem.

Population, Manufacturing and Consumption.

Fucking greedy global warming prevention assholes. Go die all of you. There will be nothing to consume and all will be fine.

Twenty Steps To Success!

Published: May 26th, 2008

I came across Kemmons Wilson’s 20 Steps to Success. I wonder how many of these are within my total control. To a good extent I do, except for a few. And they are many. This is valuable food for thought. Follow them.

20 Steps to Success : by Kemmons Wilson

1. Work only a half a day; it makes no difference which half-it can be either the first 12 hours or the last 12 hours.

2. Work is the master key that opens the door to all opportunities.

3. Mental attitude plays a far more important role in a person’s success or failure than mental capacity.

4. Remember that we all climb the ladder of success one step at a time.

5. There are two ways to get to the top of the oak tree. One way is to sit on a acorn and wait; the other is to climb it.

6. Do not be afraid of taking a chance. Remember that a broken watch is exactly right at least twice every 24 hours.

7. The secret of happiness is not doing what one likes, but in liking what one does.

8. Eliminate from your vocabulary the words, “I don’t think I can” and substitute “I know I can”.

9. In evaluating a career, put opportunity ahead of security.

10. Remember that success requires half luck and half brains.

11. A person has to take risks to achieve.

12. People who taker pains never to do more than they get paid for, never get paid for anything more than they do.

13. No job is too hard as long as you are smart enough to find someone else to do it for you.

14. Opportunity comes often. It knocks as often as you have an ear trained to hear it, an eye trained to see it, a hand trained to grasp it, and a head trained to use it.

15. You cannot procrastinate. In two days, tomorrow will be yesterday.

16. Sell your wristwatch and buy an alarm clock.

17. A successful person realizes his personal responsibility for self-motivation. He starts with himself because he possesses the key to his own ignition switch.

18. Do not worry. You can’t change the past, but you sure can ruin the present by worrying over the future. Remember that half the things we worry about never happens, and the other half are going to happen anyway. So, why worry?

19. It is not how much you have but how much you enjoy that makes happiness.

20. Believe in God and obey the Ten Commandments.
