I hate this New Year bullshit. I mean it is a great excuse to have some fun. I am for that. But using it as a model to make your life better is utter bullshit.

I don’t have a clue who is reading this. If you are, whoever you are – I wish you nothing but what you deserve. Neither sadness, happiness, not good health nor bad. You just have what you deserve. And what you deserve is what you work for.

If there is anything you desire for in 2009, go work your behind off and go get it. No one is going to hand it to you. Lazy folks don’t achieve anything in life. They are too busy sitting on their couch, watching TV and wishing for things they will most likely NEVER have in their lifetime.

So, don’t just expect good health. Work at it. Eat the right foods. Exercise. Stop bad habits like smoking, excessive drinking and sleeping (you know what I mean) around like animals. Take care of your body. Don’t just wish to get rich. Have a business or a career plan. Then bust your chops by burning the midnight oil until you get it.

Don’t expect prosperity, happiness and great health simply because someone wished you. It means little than some fleeting feeling of cheerfulness.

You’ve got to earn what you wish for.

For, most of you won’t get 5% of an improvement in your lives if you keep hallucinating the good things without putting in your rightful effort. For anything good which you desire, there is a price to pay. For anything bad which you have, you are already paying the price.

So what is it going to be for 2009? Stop fooling yourself. 2010 won’t be any better, until you are willing to pay the price for all the things which you want. That’s the story of your life brother.

To all the dreamers, lazy buffoons, nincompoops and wishful thinkers – Let the party begin!

I found this interesting website today, which makes a case for its integrity in a rather direct manner. I like its straightforwardness and limited marketing appeal as opposed to being clever and smart.

I can tell how I know at least 5 people, (Considering I know only 23 people in this God forsaken world and this is a JOKE) who will never utter words from the sanctity of their brain, let alone their hearts.

In much more simpler jargon, honesty matters. Telling people exactly how you feel about them without much consideration of a reprisal is an art form of living not to be seen of much anymore.

What a shame. And we have the nerve to call our society “Civilized”. This headline is just one subtle reflection (among many and much worse gruesome acts that goes on in our midst) about the hypocrisy of our so called civilized state of being.
