Rudy – He Was Not Put Down

Published: February 2nd, 2009

I just happened to glance and momentarily catch the Rachael Ray show. She had a dog as one of the featured guests. Now, this dog was no ordinary dog. He is RUDY. He has a story to tell. He was saved from being put down a month of being born.

His owner proudly showcases how great it has been cause Rudy was saved by their decision to adopt him. And how things could transform from a simple decision like that! Rudy is a movie star. He worked for a Hollywood movie.

Ah, the possibilities. I wonder if Rachel Ray would invite one single baby who was saved from the knife because someone like Rudy’s owner intervened for hundreds of teens and perpetual daters and maters who can’t put a brake on their hormonal clutch. I wonder if Rachel Ray has success stories planned to be featured on her show about some kid who grew up to be perhaps a president, doctor or a TV talk show host simply because someone decided not to put ‘em down.

You need life to even live a dogs life. Go Rudy. I am for one looking forward to your new screen role. You lucky dog. Perhaps, you will be an inspiration to those who murder and kill innocents for no fault of their own.
